Gankutsuou (anime)

Gankutsuou is the anime adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' "The Count of Monte Cristo." 

Caesar's "Gallic War Commentaries" appear in a dream sequence in episode 3. 

The title is in Latin, so I assume the book is supposed to be in Latin. But there is one problem: it’s too thick to have only Latin text in it.

It also includes an introduction, indexes, maps, etc. Here's the table of contents. 

"The Gallic War" with only Latin text would be at least half thinner.
